20/11/1909 - 1989 He was born on November 20, 1909 in the village Asandzhan (Hasandzhano) Kara region (Russian Empire) in the Yazidi peasant family. After the Turks occupied Kars region, his parents fled to Armenia and settled in the Yezidi village of Sangar. Samand A. Siabandov - Hero of the Soviet Union, deputy commander of 755 Infantry Regiment of the Byelorussian Front, Colonel. He graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Soviet Oriental Studies. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1931. He was the first secretary of the Alaverdi District Committee of the Communist Party of Armenia. His military career in the Red Army began in 1941. He was an instructor of the political Infantry Division, the military commissar Infantry Regiment, deputy commander of the infantry regiment for political affairs, head of the political divisions. He fought on the Western, Bryansk, Belarus, 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd Byelorussian fronts. He was twice wounded in battle. It should also be noted and his other awards: awarded the Order of Lenin (03/24/1945), 2 orders of the Red Banner (01/08/1943, 27/07/1944), 2 orders of the Patriotic War, 1 st degree (19/02/1945, 06/04/1985), Order of the Patriotic War, 2 nd degree (30.11 .43), Red Star (09/07/1942), 2 orders of the Badge of Honor, Medal of Valor (22/01/1942), other medals. In 1945, Lt. Col. S. Siabandov left in reserve. In 1946 he became a member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. In the same year he was appointed first secretary of the District of Alyagyaz Committee KP (b) of Armenia. In 1950 he graduated from the Moscow Higher Party School of the Central Committee of the CPSU (b). He worked in the office of the Central Committee of CP (b) of Armenia: a responsible organizer and member of the Party committee. From February 1952 - Deputy Minister, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Armenian SSR. In 1965 he graduated from Yerevan Agricultural Institute. Secondary elected deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR (the fourth convocation), then deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Armenian SSR, a member of the Audit Committee of the Communist Party of Armenia. Siabandov Samand emerged as the author of the Armenian-Kurdish Dictionary (1957), as well as two poems in Kurdish: "Siaband and Hajj (1959) and" Happy Life "(1966). Until the end of his life he lived in Yerevan, where he died in 1989. |
